Guwahati, 26th March: APSC is looking to hire 73 Junior Engineer (Civil) under joint cadre of Public Works Roads Department IPWRDI and Public Works(Building & National Highway) Department [PW(B&NH)DI.
Assam Public Service Commission in a Special Drive is inviting applicants from Indian Citizens as defined by Constitution under Articles 5 to 8 of India, to apply for Junior Engineer (Civil)under joint cadre of Public Works Roads Department IPWRDI and Public Works(Building & National Highway) Department [PW(B&NH)DI.
Pay Scale: The Pay Band of this role is PB-2.
A candidate can expect a salary Ranging from Rs.14,000/- to Rs.49,000/-. Plus a Grade Pay of Rs.8,700/-.
Qualification Required: A candidate must posses a minimum of Diploma in Civil Engineering/Civil Engineering and Planning from A Government recognized Technical Institute. Which is Obtained by taking a regular course and not a Distant Learning or Any other type of course.
A candidate should have grip over English and He/She must know any 1 of the these languages: Assamese/Bengali/Bodo except candidates belonging to Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council and Dima Hasao Autonomous Council.
Age Criteria: A candidate as of 01-01-2023 should not be more than 38 Years and should not be less than 18 years.
For SC/STP/STH Candidates the Upper limit is upto 43 Years.
Maximum 17 (seventeen) years for Ex-Servicemen candidates i.e. upto 55 years irrespective of SC or ST candidates as per Govt. Notification No.ABP.4B/2009/84, dated Dispur the 19rh December, 2022.
